Symphonic’s standard music video distribution is $95 per video, which includes delivery to major platforms like Vevo, Spotify, Apple Music, TIDAL, Vimeo, XITE, and more. We also offer a Vevo-only delivery option for $25 per video, OR a Spotify-only option for $25 per video. There are no annual fees, and your video stays live unless you request a takedown.
Your music video can be delivered to Vevo (including your official Vevo YouTube channel and the Vevo app on connected TVs), Spotify, Apple Music, TIDAL, Vimeo, XITE, and Promo Only.
During submission, you can select specific partners if you prefer not to deliver to every platform.
No. If you do not already have a Vevo channel, one can be created for you as part of the delivery process. Your video will appear on your official Vevo-branded YouTube channel and within the Vevo app on connected TV and streaming devices.
Yes. Our video distribution service is not limited to new releases. You can deliver back catalog music videos as long as they meet our content and technical requirements.
You can request a takedown at any time by contacting our support team with your video details (title, artist name, UPC, ISRC, and selected DSPs). Your video will be removed from the requested platforms once processing is complete.
Artists receive 70% of net royalties generated from music video monetization, unless otherwise specified in your distribution agreement.
Video distribution requires 3 weeks to process. This ensures that the video is properly ingested on the video platforms, and also gives our marketing team the necessary time to pitch it for a feature placement.
All videos must contain 100% original audio and primarily original visual content. Stock footage must make up less than 10% of the total video and cannot be the primary visual source. Videos must meet partner quality standards and cannot rely on public domain compilations.
Yes. Through our YouTube monetization services, you can generate revenue from your official uploads and protect your content with fingerprinting technology that identifies unauthorized uses of your audio or visual material.
Spotify only accepts official music videos — lyric videos, visualizers, live content, and similar formats are not supported. Your audio must already be distributed through Symphonic, as the video is directly linked to the existing track on the platform. Additionally, publishing must be fully cleared, with 100% of shares registered with the MLC and an audiovisual license in place prior to release.
* Promo Only is curated, meaning we’ll deliver content there, and their team will decide if the video will be placed on their platform. Symphonic does not process refunds if a video is not selected for placement on Promo Only.
